Healing and The Power To Be Healed
Many of us have aspects of our life that we want to heal. It may be our thinking or beliefs, it may be our attitude, it may even be some kind of healing we wish for a loved one. What is more usual, is to want to heal our body or a physical health condition. Nonetheless we want, or wish we could heal something.
There are particular steps that need to be taken to initiate healing, and our role in the healing process is more about asking for it and getting out of the way, than it is anything else.
Healing is not about feeling worthy or deserving it, it’s about stepping into our power and letting go of the issues or blocks that prevent us from living fully. This enables us to claim our birthright of health on all levels by conscious will and choice.
Here I illustrate the process of healing to help us all in our healing journey.
The Process of Healing
To heal anything, there’s a process that we need to follow and most of the steps can be done in an instant ~ the moment we decide we want healing and fully surrender to the power that governs life to do so.
The power that comes through surrendering is necessary if we are to heal.
So do we utilize our own power or tap into another source of power to heal? Actually they are one and the same. There is only One power and One source of healing which is always available to us. Healing involves stepping into our power and taking control, then handing this personal control over to a greater power.
This might seem counter-intuitive but it’s not. Handing over our personal control of what happens is a deep act of surrender that shows our trust in life itself. It allows a divine presence that is all-seeing and all-knowing to enter our lives, to do what we want with a completely unlimited perspective and infinite resources.

Ask For Healing To Occur
Everything that exists on every level – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual/or energetic is able to operate within the realms of what we perceive as past, present and future. With deep surrender this power can complete our request at our command. As it is commanded it is done.
We need to ask, and actually command for healing to occur. Yes I did say command.
People aren’t used to commanding. They think we need to humbly ask for healing, or to never ask at all because it will only happen if we deserve it and if it doesn’t we must not have deserved it. This is not true and is something we need to address and unlearn.
This all-seeing and all-knowing power will bring healing to us if we ask for it with strong enough desire and expectancy.
We need to be determined. We need to ask and to believe that healing is possible and that there is simply no other option. We have to know in every cell of our being and to declare that we will heal, and to know that somehow it’s already done. No excuses, no doubts, only belief or faith that somehow it will happen and whatever happens will be perfect.
Let Go Of Attachment To Being Healed
Then we need to let go of our attachment, not just to receiving healing but to any kind of outcome.
This allows a complete handover to happen, as we let go of attachment and control and step out of the way. Thinking and repeating the words, ‘Thank you for my healing’ is then a beneficial act of gratitude that assists bringing healing into present time through raising our energy vibration to that of already feeling complete and whole.
Healing doesn’t need to be some grand affair, elaborate complicated process or amazing ‘out there’ experience. It can happen in an instant and be as natural and beautiful as the sun rising in the morning sky. Our natural state is always waiting for us to just let it be. Only we complicate it, block it or deny our right to it’s existence. Our true nature is always that of being whole and complete. No matter what we have said or done in life, and no matter what has been said or done to us.

Understanding Our Part In Healing
The Universe, God, Spirit…whatever label you give is impartial. It wants us to have everything and it wants us to have what we want, so we have been given the power of will. Due to this free will, we are given what we want and believe we deserve. Note that I said ‘believe we deserve’, not ‘what we deserve.’
The sooner we become aware that Spirit is impartial and we have free will the better. We can choose to heal or not to, as there is always personal choice due to having this ‘free will‘. It’s up to us to make that choice and to ask for healing at some level of consciousness if that’s what we want.
The infinite power that heals is always ready and available at our disposal. All we need do is ask, let go and be open to receiving healing in whatever form it comes in. The process is the same as when manifesting, we are just asking for something different ~ a healing to occur.
We let go of the outcome completely and the need to have it be the way we want and through this become detached from what happens. We may actually even forget about it. Meanwhile we stay open to whatever happens, trusting that whatever happens or comes is perfect. When it comes we graciously welcome and accept it into our lives as the blessing it is.
Our role in the healing process is simple. We ask for it, allow it, let go of any expectations or attachment to any outcome whatsoever and then get out of the way!
To initiate healing know it is your birthright and a part of your life experience to get over things and to heal them. Ask and command it as if you believe that healing is a natural part of your experience (which it is) and has already happened. Be focused and completely involved, then let go as you give thanks with all your heart, for all you have been given and all that you are.
Blessings to you in your healing journey,
